The Ungrateful Crocodile.

Have you ever helped someone, then they have acted in an ungrateful way?
This story tells of this happening and is performed by three year one children.

Red Riding Hood.

The tale of Red Riding Hood starring Year 5, 4  students plus a Year 1 student  as Grandma. The children worked hard to remember their lines. Some gave extra valuable input editing their movie, by choosing the transition styles of scenes, the music, and sound effects.

We are starting our blog site with examples of our creativity and oral language skills.

The Story of Rapunzel as told by Year 3, 4 and 5 students

The children read, then studied the story of Rapunzel. Next they worked together to create their own version of this old tale. From the new narrative they then turned it into a written play. They practised the play, speaking in character.
Finally from the play they felt confident enough to make a movie and speak their lines without a text to read from. They put on costumes, got their props and talked about locations for their scenes. The camera rolled and they started to ad-lib. It was great.
We hope you enjoy the movie. We think it has lots of elements in it ie suspense, bravery, tragedy, humour....and ACTION!
